4 Day Rwanda Gorilla Safari

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Morning:

• Arrive at Kigali International Airport in Rwanda.
• Meet your safari guide and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda.
• Enjoy scenic views of the rolling hills and lush landscapes along the way.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

Early Morning:

• Head to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking rules and guidelines.

Morning to Afternoon:

• Wake up on an exhilarating gorilla trekking adventure. Hike through the dense forest, guided by experienced trackers, until you find a gorilla family.
• Spend up to one hour observing and photographing these magnificent creatures.

Afternoon:

• Return to the lodge for a well-deserved lunch.
• Relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings or take a guided nature walk to learn about the local flora and fauna.

Evening:

• Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Morning:

Midday:

• Arrive in Queen Elizabeth National Park and check into your lodge.
• Lunch at the lodge.

Afternoon:

• Get  on an exciting game drive in the Ishasha sector to spot tree-climbing lions and other wildlife such as elephants, buffaloes, and various antelope species.

Evening:

• Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 4: Safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park and Departure

Early Morning:

• Return to the lodge for a mid-morning meal.

Late Morning to Early Afternoon:

• Take a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, where you can see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species up close.

Afternoon:

• Lunch at the lodge.
• Drive back to Kigali, Rwanda, for your departure flight.

Evening:

• Arrive in Kigali and transfer to the airport for your flight home.
