Day 2: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park
Depart early from Kampala or Entebbe after breakfast, heading north through Uganda’s lush countryside. The journey to Murchison Falls
National Park takes approximately 5–6 hours, with rich landscapes and
village scenes along the way. Mid-morning, make a key stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an on-foot rhino tracking experience—your chance to see one of the Big Five up close. Expert guides lead you safely through bush trails to observe these majestic animals in their natural habitat.
After this unforgettable encounter, enjoy lunch nearby or at a roadside
restaurant. Continue your drive to Murchison Falls, passing through
Budongo Forest and entering via the southern gate. Arrive at your lodge in time to relax and catch a breathtaking sunset over the Nile River.

Day 3: Safari and Nile Boat Cruise
Wake up early for a morning game drive in the park’s northern sector,
where wildlife is most active at dawn. You’ll have the opportunity to spot four of the Big Five: lions, elephants, leopards, and buffaloes, along with giraffes, hartebeests, and countless birds. With vast savannahs and acacia woodlands, the area provides perfect visibility for animal sightings. After several hours of exploration, return to the lodge for a late breakfast and some rest. In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise upstream along the Victoria Nile toward the base of Murchison Falls. This river safari offers sightings of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and an incredible range of water birds.
